Olivia Rodrigo joins Smashing Pumpkins for surprise Lollapalooza performance
Olivia Rodrigo surprised the Lollapalooza crowd with a performance on stage with Smashing Pumpkins.
The band's frontman, Billy Corgan, introduced the Filipino-American singer as "a very, very special guest" before the two performed a duet of "Thirty-Three."
On Instagram, Olivia said that sharing the stage with Smashing Pumpkins was "such a special moment" and that she was "feeling so lucky" to be able to do so.
Meanwhile, Olivia released her third album, "You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love," in June. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
It also became Spotify's most-streamed album of 2026 in a single day by a female artist.
Olivia also recently launched Daisy Chain Fields, a new all-women music festival set for August 29 at the Great Park in Irvine, California.
She said that 100% of the net proceeds will go to charities "dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls."
