Joy Barcoma opens up on 8-year relationship with BF

Joy Barcoma has some love advice as someone who has been in a relationship for eight years.

On "Unang Hirit" on Friday, the beauty queen and host talked about the secret to her long-lasting relationship with her boyfriend, Cong.

She said the most important thing to them is trust.

"Tiwala talaga sa isa's isa," she said. "Kasi kung wlang tiwala, walang pundasyon ang relasyon. So 'yun 'yung pinaka importante sa amin."

Joy shared that she and Cong are completely supportive of each other and their goals.

"'Yung gitna ng pagiging supportive na 'yun is 'yung tiwala namin sa isa't isa, so I think that's the most important part," she said.

"And also respect and love," she added.

In August last year, Joy was crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2025.

In November, she finished in the Top 8 of Miss Earth 2025.

She has been a guest host on "Unang Hirit" for the past few months. —JCB, GMA News
