Patrick Garcia's wife Nikka following husband's tell-all: 'I won in this life. I fell in love with a good man'
Patrick Garcia's wife Nikka has issued a message of support for her husband following his tell-all interview with Ogie Diaz.
In an now-expired Instagram Stories post that showbiz insider Noel Ferrer reposted on his Instagram account, Nikka said that she's "won in life."
"I fell in love with a good man and I'll never stop being grateful for that," Nikka continued.
Describing Patrick as a "self-made man" who is hardworking, gentle, and safe, Nikka said the former actor "takes care of me in all the ways that matter" before expressing her love for Patrick.
Ferrer called it a testament of love and thanked Nikka for loving Patrick "so well and for seeing him for who he truly is."
Patrick was the talk of the town all through Wednesday after he revisited his relationship with Jennylyn Mercado in an interview with Ogie Diaz.
In the rare interview, he spoke about Jennylyn getting pregnant, how he "was never there for Jen during her pregnancy, not because I didn’t want to be there, but because she didn’t want me to be there," how he only met his son Alex Jazz when he was nearly two years, among other claims.
According to Patrick, he is opening up after 18 long years because his daughter has been getting hate comments on social media because of him.
“People are hating on us too much, and I think it’s unfair," Patrick told Ogie. “That’s why I’m telling my story.”
it prompted Jennylyn's husband Dennis Trillo to react and write a short message on social media.
"Hindi ako pabor sa bashing, pero salamat at naalala mo si Jazz dahil sa pag bash sa anak mo. Spread love, not hate," Dennis said.
Jennylyn's longtime manager Becky Aguila also issued a statement, reminding Patrick that "there are a lot of things you did to hurt her, and she never shared it with anyone as a sign of respect to you as the father of her child, and your family, who are not involved."
Her daughter, Katrina Aguila also expressed support for Jen, sharing that "a month after giving birth, Jennylyn immediately went back to work," she said. "She was desperate to earn money for Jazz and her family that she even flew to the States to find work as a singer to different restaurants."
Jennylyn meanwhile has declined to comment.
In 2015, Patrick and Nikka tied the knot in 2015. They have four children together.
Meanwhile, Jennylyn got married to Dennis in 2021. They have a daughter named Dylan.
