Cake studio behind Bea Alonzo, Vincent Co's wedding cake renames design after couple
Bea Alonzo and Vincent Co's simple wedding cake has become such a hit that its creators have officially renamed the design in honor of the newlyweds.
On Instagram, Wadough's said they have been receiving many orders for the cake from clients who want to try it after seeing it on the couple's wedding photos.
The cake studio expressed their gratitude to Bea for trusting them to be part of her special day.
"And because everyone keeps asking for 'yung cake ni Bea,' we've decided to officially call this design the 'Bea-Vincent Cake.' Dapat lang din naman," they said.
"If there's ever a church wedding in the future, it would be our absolute honor to create the wildest and most beautiful cake for you as our way of saying thank you."
In a message to GMA News Online, Wadough's said they were unaware that the cake was for Bea and Vincent's wedding, as it was placed as a regular order.
The cake featured the studio's signature minimalist design and consisted of layers of red velvet, vanilla, and chocolate cake with tablea ganache filling, finished with smooth buttercream icing. It is priced at P3,000.
Bea and Vincent's round celebratory cake featured a decorative piped shell border running along the top and bottom edges. The center is neatly inscribed with the words "just married."
"To everyone requesting the funniest and most random cake messages just to try the Bea Cake—please keep them coming! Gagawin namin 'yan lahat!" the cake studio said.
Wadough's is located at 154 Maginhawa Street in Diliman, Quezon City. Based on their ordering guidelines, regular cakes require a one- to two-day lead time for orders.
Bea and Vincent tied the knot on July 13 in a civil wedding officiated by Makati City Mayor Nancy Binay.
