Divine Lee details her and her husband's COVID-19 recovery in latest vlog

DIvine Lee detailed her and her husband Blake's recovery from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in her latest vlog post.

A couple of weeks ago, Divine revealed that she and her husband have tested positive for the disease, despite not going out of their house since March 14.

In the video, Divine and her husband Blake shared some of the vitamins they took as they were fighting off the virus. They included Vitamin C with Zinc, Melatonin, and Vitamin D3.

According to Divine, she's had three rapid tests that all came back negative. When she took a swab test, however, the result turned out to be positive.

"So all of us are under anti-biotics none of us have symptoms. Blake is the only one with the sore throat, kinda feels bad, nothing na nakikita niyo na parang nakakatakot. He's ok, he's in isolation," she said.

After they found out they tested positive, Divine's OB gave her an oxymeter to regularly check their oxygen levels.

"I look normal but I was tired. My body was pagod, ayaw mong gumalaw," Blake shared.

He continued and enumerated some of the symptoms he had.

"Mine started with a sore throat for three days then fever. My fever was 38 and then mawawala na naman. Bukas parang andiyan lang siya eh. Cough, diarrhea, yung smell and taste mo nag-iba," he narrated.

Divine said they also took fish oil twice a day, "because apparently Covid can make your blood clot so we took it twice a day because it's helping you para hindi lumabnaw 'yung dugo."

Divine said the disease could've gone unnoticed if she was not "praning."

"You could test negative sa rapid test even though you're already spreading the virus so it's really good to get a swab test and before you get your rapid test," Divine encouraged her viewers.

Divine said the hardest part of battling the virus is the negative thoughts and not being able to see and touch her children physically while they recover.

After their isolation period, they finally tested negative for COVID-19.

At the latter part of her video, Divine tearfully thanked the frontliners.

"Naiiyak ako kasi ang babait ng tao talaga, and then they say na 'sir wag kayo magalala. Ako, kaka-positive ko lang last week, ok na ako.' Alam mo yun? They really give him hope and they give him strength and courage," she said.

"They're so brave. Isipin mo yun galing ka na sa positive tapos bumalik ka pa sa work. Sinasabi nila 'may antibodies na nga ako eh,' so parang grabe talaga yung saludo ko sa kanila," she added.

Other celebrities who tested positive for COVID-19 include Christopher De Leon, Iza Calzado, and most recently, Michael V. GMA journalist Howie Severino also tested positive for the virus. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
