Ben&Ben to drop new single 'Di Ka Sayang' at midnight

Ben&Ben is set to drop its new single, "Di Ka Sayang," at midnight!

The OPM band announced the schedule of release on its Twitter account on Thursday.

"First single of the new era," Ben&Ben wrote.

In another tweet, the band said the new song is about "self-acceptance and embracing who you are."

Fans of the nine-piece group took their excitement to social media, with some of them digging out an old tweet by Paolo Benjamin which seemingly teased the song.

"Isa sa mga paboritong sabihin sa 'tin ng ibang matatanda ay, 'alam mo, sayang ka.' Hindi 'yun totoo. Kailanman," he said in September.

The new single comes weeks after the band ended the first season of its BBTV series to focus on writing its second album.

Before "Di Ka Sayang," the band released "Lifetime," a song inspired by the viral story of a netizen who was in love with her best friend. —MGP, GMA News
