Google enhances customization options in Docs, Sheets
Good news for those using Google's Docs, Sheets and Slides: the productivity apps have been enhanced to allow merging of cells and customization of images.
In a Google+ post, Google said these last-minute updates before end-2014 seek to make documents, spreadsheets, and presentations "more beautiful and useful."
The Internet giant said users of Docs can customize tables with different colors and line thicknesses, and merge cells together :to get your table just right."
Users can also customize images inside their documents by recoloring them, and changing the transparency and brightness.
Even users of Slides can add slide numbers to help guide presentations.
A separate article on tech site The Next Web said merging cells allows a user to "make fancy mosaic art, if you’re bored."
The updates are live now, it said. — Joel Locsin/TJD, GMA News
