Angel Guardian gets surprise birthday party from friends
Angel Guardian was surprised with a birthday celebration organized by her friends, with several celebrities joining the fun.
On Instagram, the Sparkle star shared photos from the party, which was attended by Glaiza de Castro, Megan Young, Lexi Gonzales, Gabby Eigenmann, and Mikael Daez.
“I haven’t really posted about my birthday celebration yet… and this SUPER fun day deserves a spot on my feed,” she wrote in the caption.
Per Angel, she had not really planned on having a birthday party for herself.
“I’m the type who really doesn’t plan any celebration for my birthday—or should I say, I make plans but they always end up being ‘next year.’ Hahaha! So this kind of celebration really touched me. I realized that it really is nice to feel the love of the people around you. And I also realized… that having a kids’ party is actually so much fun when you’re already an adult,” she said in a mix of Filipino and English.
She thanked her best friend Clarice for organizing the surprise and bringing together people who have been part of different stages of her life.
“And to all the people who took the time to come and spend their day celebrating with me, thank you so much. I was so happy to see all of you. I was so surprised,” she said.
Angel ended her post by writing, “Cheers to never getting old!!”
In June, Angel won the Best Actress award at the 10th World Class Excellence Japan Awards (WCEJA).
She received the recognition for her portrayal of Deia in “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre.”
