Kris Aquino says returning to TV without Boy Abunda 'not worth it for me'
Kris Aquino sure misses being on television but returning without her "king" would be out of the question.
On Wednesday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the Queen of All Media admitted that while she misses appearing on TV, it would not be worth it if she has to go back without the King of Talk.
"I think TV without you would not be worth it for me. I think if I were to return, I would return to my partner, the king," she said in Filipino and English.
Touched, Tito Boy shared that he would only bid goodbye to his career with her, too.
"Thank you, Krissy, you're making me cry. We should really be back. As I said, if I were to end my career, if I were to say goodbye, it should also be with you," he told her.
Tito Boy added that people from the industry would often tell him how much they wish to see him and Kris do a show again.
"I told them, 'We've been talking about it for ages.' Remember, we would talk about it, we can do a podcast without anything, let's just talk about anything forever," he said.
"And have so many enemies after," Kris replied in jest.
Kris and Tito Boy reunited on Wednesday for a two-part television special as part of the latter's weeklong birthday celebration on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda."
The second part of the special will air on Thursday at 4:05 p.m. on GMA Network.
Early this year, Kris admitted that she misses doing interviews and bared her goals to launch a video podcast.
In August, she took the internet by storm when Netflix dropped its latest campaign, featuring her as the streaming giant's official Chief Head of Insights and Content Analysis a.k.a. C.H.I.K.A.
Personalities and netizens alike celebrated her return, including Michael Leyva, Neri Miranda, Bianca Gonzalez, Baus Rufo, Kimi Yap, and more.
The Netflix campaign marked Kris' comeback following her serious years-long bout with autoimmune diseases.
