Heart Evangelista reveals she has a movie set to premiere in China, LA

Looks like Heart Evangelista is returning to the big screen soon!

In her “chika moment” series on Instagram, Thursday, a netizen asked if she has any plans on making movies on top of her upcoming teleserye.

Heart replied: “I made a movie that was filmed in China that I’m very proud of,” she wrote. “The release is still being planned but it will be premiered in China and [Los Angeles].”

Sharing her excitement, Heart said the premiere will hopefully come soon.

In the photo shared, Heart is seen looking fierce with some dirt on her face. The Kapuso actress is also seen being surrounded by wires.

In June, Heart revealed that she plans to see Kevin Kwan, the author of the book “Crazy Rich Asians,” which was remade into a movie in 2018.

The Filipino actress and fashion icon has been rumored to star in the movie’s sequel, but there has yet to be an official announcement on the matter.

Based on her Instagram stories, Heart is currently in quarantine prior to the lock-in taping for the upcoming GMA series “I Left My Heart in Sorsogon.” — Franchesca Viernes/LA, GMA News
