Awra Briguela has now finished high school.

On Instagram, the comedienne shared her graduation photos, along with a heartfelt message thanking everyone who supported her throughout her academic journey at the University of the East.

Awra shared that returning to school was challenging, as she had stopped for five years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She admitted feeling like she had fallen behind in life, but despite everything she had to catch up on, she still chose to fight for her dream.

The former child star also expressed her gratitude to her classmates and teachers, who she shared her journey with and who stood by her through it all.

She thanked the school principals for not giving up on her and giving her the chance to catch up, as well as Vice Ganda for supporting her throughout her studies.

Aside from Vice, Awra also shared the recognition with her family, where she draws her strength.

As she closed her high school chapter with gratitude, Awra reflected on the biggest lesson she learned through it all: to have faith in yourself.

Acknowledging her past faults and mistakes, the actress said she will never let them define her, and as long as there’s a chance to rise again, she will take it and correct her wrongdoings.

As she prepares for college, she has promised herself and all the people who support her to do well in school.

Fellow celebrities like Sassa Gurl and Zeinab Harake flocked to Awra’s comment section to send their congratulations.

“Congrats bb gurl,” Sassa wrote.

“Super proud ako sayo palagi lang andito si ate para sayo congratulations i love you so so much,” Zeinab said.

Previously, Awra shared a heartwarming moment of academic achievement and profound gratitude where she was showing her grades to Vice, saying that “this is all for you.”

In 2023, Awra was detained by the Makati City police after her involvement in a brawl outside The Bolthole Bar in Poblacion. After posting bail, she filed a counter-affidavit in connection with the complaints she faced.
