NCT's Doyoung, Jungwoo to enlist in military in December
NCT members Doyoung and Jungwoo are set to begin their mandatory military service on December 8.
Citing SM Entertainment, Soompi reported on Thursday that Doyoung will enlist an active duty soldier of the army, while Jungwoo was accepted in the Army Band.
According to SM, there will be no special event on the day of their enlistment. They also asked fans to refrain from visiting their site for safety reasons.
“We ask for your unwavering love and support so that Doyoung and Jungwoo can diligently carry out their military service and return in even better health.”
Doyoung and Jungwoo will be the third and fourth NCT members to enlist following Jaehyun and Taeyong who enlisted in November and April 2024, respectively.
Doyoung and Jungwoo are part of NCT’s sub-units NCT U and NCT 127. They also formed a trio group with Jaehyun called NCT-DoJaeJung.
