Miguel Tanfelix confirms 'The Master Cutter' appearance was a 'Taskforce Firewall' crossover

Miguel Tanfelix just confirmed this cool Easter egg.

In GMA News Interviews with Nelson Canlas on "24 Oras," the Sparkle star revealed that his "Taskforce Firewall" character, Galo, already appeared in "The Master Cutter" pilot episode two weeks ago.

In the episode, Miguel got to have an action-packed scene with Dingdong Dantes.

"Crossover siya. Kumbaga si Galo sa 'Master Cutter,' 'yun si Galo 10 years ago. After 10 years, nandito na siya sa 'Firewall.' Nag-retire siya sa military," Miguel said.

"Since nag-e-exist si Galo sa 'Master Cutter,' posible na mag-exist din si Atoy sa 'Firewall.' Posible kung 'di busy si Kuya Dong."

In "Taskforce Firewall," Galo is an agent looking for his missing sibling.

The cast has been preparing for the series since last year, through firing, martial arts, and rappelling.

"Hindi madali 'yung taping namin eh. Napaka daming aksyon. Lalo na ako na first time sasabak sa hard action. Hindi siya biro, nakakapagod siya, pero masaya," Miguel said.

"So excited akong mapanood 'yung sarili ko sa action. Excited akong mapanood 'yung chemistry namin kasi isa 'yun sa mga pinaka trinabaho namin eh. Dapat 'pag nakita kami sa screen, parang team talaga kami," Miguel said.

"Taskforce Firewall" premieres Monday, May 25 at 8:50 p.m. after "The Master Cutter." —Nika Roque/MGP, GMA News
