Dingdong Dantes highlights Aktor PH's commitment to protecting actors' health, welfare

Aktor PH, the organization led by actor Dingdong Dantes as chairman, continues to strengthen its efforts to promote the overall well-being of members of the entertainment industry.

In Nelson Canlas’ report on “24 Oras” on Friday, Dingdong said the group has spent the past six years championing initiatives to protect actors' rights.

"For the past six years we've been focusing on the welfare of our actors. Hindi lang physical welfare kundi mental well-being din. Pati siyempre 'yung kanilang safety doon sa aming working space," Dingdong said.

In the same interview, Dingdong expressed excitement about his upcoming disguises in the Kapuso primetime series “The Master Cutter.”

“Katatapos niya lang maging madre. So marami-rami pa ang kailangan niyang pasuking identity para makamit ang mga mission na ‘yan. Wala pa tayo sa exciting part,” he shared.

Directed by Dominic Zapata, “The Master Cutter” also stars Max Collins, Rio Locsin, Paolo Contis, Joey Marquez, Polo Ravales, Anthony Constantino, Charlie Fleming, Sienna Stevens, and more.

"The Master Cutter" is Dingdong's return to primetime since starring in "Royal Blood" in 2023. The actor plays Atoy, a retired soldier who becomes a tailor and tracker-for-hire.

It airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." It is also streaming on Netflix. —Jade Veronique Yap/CDC, GMA News
