Zephanie excited to work with Golden Cañedo on 'Born to Shine'

Zephanie is looking forward to working with her new "Born to Shine" co-star, Golden Cañedo.

On Athena Imperial's report on "24 Oras Weekend," the two artists are both "konteseras," or singing contest veterans.

"I just enjoy working with my fellow artists, especially those who also grew up with OPM, you know, those who grew up in contests," Zephanie said in Filipino.

"It's like we're competing but at the same time, we're performing in one stage," the singer-actress added.

Meanwhile, Golden's confidence in performing is slowly returning after her six-year hiatus from showbiz.

"When I first came here, I was so nervous, I didn't know what was going to happen," she said in Filipino.

Golden also got starstruck by OPM singer Roselle Nava on the set of "Born to Shine."

"She is so good at acting. I need to level up," Golden said. "My motivation is to show another Golden to the public."
