PENTAGON’s Kino tests positive for COVID-19

PENTAGON member Kino has tested positive for COVID-19.

According to a Soompi report, his agency, CUBE Entertainment, released a statement on Thursday and confirmed the news.

"PENTAGON’s Kino was diagnosed with COVID-19 today (November 25)," said the agency.

It said that on Wednesday, an external instructor who visited the Cube Entertainment office tested positive for COVID-19. As a preemptive measure, all of the agency employees, including individuals who entered the building, underwent PCR testing.

"The following day, Kino was diagnosed with COVID-19, and he is currently following the guidelines of the health authorities," CUBE Entertainment said.

It added that other PENTAGON members Jinho, Hongseok, Shinwon, Yeowon, Yan An, Yuto, and Wooseok tested negative for COVID-19.

"However, we will determine their future activities according to the health authorities’ quarantine guidelines," it said.

"We will do our best for the health and safety of artists by complying with the health authorities’ prevention guidelines."

Aside from Kino, other South Korean celebrities who tested positive for the disease included BLACKPINK's Lisa, SF9's Dawon and Hwiyoung, Super Junior's Shindong, and actor Ji Chang Wook. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
