Alex Eala, Venus Williams to face Tereza Mihalikova, Olivia Nicholls in Bad Homburg Open doubles quarterfinals

Alexandra “Alex” Eala and Venus Williams will take on the doubles team of Tereza Mihalikova of Slovakia and Olivia Nicholls of Great Britain in the quarterfinals of the Bad Homburg Open on Thursday.

Eala and Williams are coming off a strong debut together, defeating Alexandra Osborne and Catherine Harrison, 6-3, 6-4 , on Wednesday to secure their first victory as a pair.

Mihalikova and Nicholls, both ranked world No. 29 in doubles, have been competing together since 2024.

The duo captured titles at the Berlin Open in 2025 and the HSBC Championships earlier this month.
