PAGASA monitors tropical depression outside PAR; ITCZ to bring rains over VisMin
State weather bureau PAGASA continues to monitor the tropical depression outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, according to its weather bulletin on Wednesday.
The tropical depression is located 2,970 kilometers east of southeastern Luzon and moving slowly, with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h and gusts up to 70 km/h.
Meanwhile, the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is expected to bring cloudy skies with scaterred rains and thunderstorms over Negros Island Region, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, Masbate, Lanao del Sur, and Davao Oriental.
The rest of Visayas and Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms also due to ITCZ.
