Tropical Storm Domeng enters PAR, no effect to weather in the next 24 hours — PAGASA

Tropical Storm Domeng inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), less likely to affect the weather condition in the next 24 hours, PAGASA reported in a Tropical Cyclone Advisory.

The center of Tropical Storm Domeng was estimated at 1,345 kilometers east of Southeastern Luzon with maximum sustained winds of 75 kilometers per hour near the center, gustiness of up to 90 km/h, and central pressure of 998 hPa.

Domeng is moving Northwestward at the speed of 20 km/h with strong to gale-force winds extend outwards up to 400 km from the center.

There are no Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals in effect.

Heavy Rainfall Outlook

PAGASA also reported that Domeng is less likely to directly affect the weather condition of the country in the next 24 hours.

However, the southwesterly windflow enhanced by Domeng may bring heavy rains over the western portions of the country beginning Sunday, May 31, 2026.

A weather advisory may be issued tomorrow, May 30, 2026 in anticipation of the heavy rains.
