Typhoon Domeng maintains strength over PH Sea

Typhoon Domeng maintains its strength while moving north-northwest over the Philippine Sea, PAGASA said late Sunday.
According to the state weather bureau's 11 p.m. bulletin, the center of the eye of Domeng was estimated to be 630 kilometers east-northeast of Itbayat, Batanes, with maximum sustained winds of 130 km/h and gusts up to 160 km/h.
Domeng is expected to enhance the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat, which will bring strong to gale-force gusts over the following areas:
- Sunday, May 31: Most of Visayas, Batanes, Cagayan, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, and Bicol Region.
- Monday, June 1: Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Panay Island, and Negros Occidental.
- Tuesday, June 2: Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Central Luzon, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Camarines Norte, and Camarines Sur.
