Heavy rains expected over Metro Manila, 8 Luzon provinces

Moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds are expected over Metro Manila and eight provinces in Luzon on Monday morning, state weather bureau PAGASA said.
In a thunderstorm advisory issued at 9:13 a.m., PAGASA said the following areas will experience inclement weather within the next 2 hours:
- Metro Manila;
- Laguna (Luisiana, Majayjay, Liliw, Nagcarlan, Rizal, Cavinti, Magdalena, Pagsanjan, San Pablo, San Pedro, Calauan, Bay, Los Banos, Calamba, Cabuyao, Santa Rosa, Binan, Alaminos, Victoria, Pila, Santa Cruz, Lumban);
- Bulacan (San Jose del Monte, Marilao, Meycauayan, Obando, Bulakan, Bocaue, Balagtas, Santa Maria, Norzagaray, Hagonoy, Calumpit, Paombong, Malolos, Guiguinto, Plaridel, Pulilan, Pandi, Baliuag, Bustos, Angat, Dona Remedios Trinidad);
- Pampanga (Lubao, Sasmuan, Macabebe, Masantol, Floridablanca, Guagua, Minalin, Apalit, Porac);
- Cavite (Alfonso, Indang, General Trias, Bacoor, Imus, Dasmarinas, Kawit, Noveleta, Cavite City, Carmona, Gen. Mariano Alvarez, Silang, Amadeo, Tagaytay, Mendez);
- Batangas (Tanauan, Santo Tomas, Malvar, Talisay);
- Zambales (Olongapo, Subic, Castillejos, San Antonio, San Marcelino, San Narciso, San Felipe);
- Nueva Ecija (General Tinio); and
- Rizal (Rodriguez, San Mateo).
Catanauan, Buenavista, and Lopez in Quezon province, and Batanga in Bataan are currently experiencing moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds.
It may persist for up to two hours and affect nearby areas.
Affected residents are advised to take precautionary measures against flash floods and landslides.—AOL, GMA News
