Habagat, easterlies to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over PH — PAGASA
The southwest monsoon (Habagat) and easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains to the western section of Luzon, part of Visayas, Mindanao on Tuesday, PAGASA reported.
Forecast Weather Conditions
Ilocos Region, Zambales, and Bataan will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon as flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila, Cordillera Administrative Region, Pampanga, Tarlac, Bulacan, Cavite, Batangas, Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, and Oriental Mindoro will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon as flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms as flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Forecast Wind and Coastal Water Conditions
The wind speed forecast for the western section of Luzon is moderate and moving in the southwest to southeast direction with moderate coastal waters.
The rest of Luzon will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the south to southeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
The wind speed forecast for the Visayas and Mindanao is light to moderate moving in the south to southwest direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
