Daang Dokyu to stream 3 GMA documentaries this week

Three GMA-7 documentaries will be streamed by Daang Dokyu in its opening week from October 2 to 8.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, the film festival said the "emotionally-compelling documentaries" have been recommended by their partners.

First on the list is "Reel Time: Isinulat sa Tubig" produced by Jayson Bernard Santos, which tells the story of children who wade through the sea just to go to school in Sorsogon.

Another featured title is "I-Witness: Alkansya" hosted by Kara David and directed by Anna Isabelle Matutina, which follows a 12-year-old boy in Eastern Samar who dives for sea cucumbers to help his family earn a living.

"The Atom Araullo Specials: Babies4Sale.PH" directed by Aaron Mendoza is also on the lineup. The documentary won a silver medal at the New York Festivals' TV and Film Awards.
