Alex Eala makes Paris Fashion Week debut at Chanel show

Alex Eala has gone from wearing Chanel earrings at a historic press conference to attending the French fashion house's show during Paris Fashion Week.

The Filipina tennis ace was among the guests at Chanel's Spring/Summer 2027 show on Tuesday (Philippine time), where the brand's artistic director Matthieu Blazy unveiled his latest collection.

Alex wore a gray tweed shirt with gold logo buttons, paired with relaxed-fit dark pants. She attended the show with her mom, Rizza Maniego-Eala.

In an interview with Vogue Philippines, Alex said, "I'm a Chanel girl through and through."

Alex's love for Chanel can be traced all the way back to 2022.

After becoming the first Filipina to win the US Open Juniors singles title, 17-year-old Alex marked the historic occasion at her press conference by wearing Chanel earrings.

Alex's Chanel show appearance comes as she continues to make her mark in the fashion world.

In September, she made her New York Fashion Week debut, attending several events including the Tory Burch show, the Michael Kors presentation, where she met fellow Filipina Kelsey Merritt, and the Calvin Klein event, which spotlight Alex in its Instagram account.

Alex is set to headline the event "Alex Eala Live: Game. Set. Celebrate" on December 8 at the Philippine Arena. She will face fellow Southeast Asian tennis star Janice Tjen of Indonesia in the exhibition match.
