Laufey thanks Pinoy fans after sold-out Manila shows: 'No country sings like you do'
Laufey is leaving Manila with fond memories after holding three sold-out shows in the Philippines.
On Instagram, the Icelandic-Chinese singer shared photos from her concert and thanked Filipino fans for the warm welcome and energy during her performances.
“I'm leaving manila with a giant smile on my face. Three sold out shows in three days. How crazy!!!!!” Laufey wrote in the caption.
“I dont quite have the words to describe how much love I've felt in the Philippines. no country sings like you do - thank you for welcoming me and for being such a beautiful choir,” she added.
Laufey also gave a special shoutout to BINI, who joined her onstage during one of the concerts.
“Thank you for joining me on stage it was such a special moment,” she said, ending her post with “Mahal kita. Bangkok next!!!”
Laufey held her three shows at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Her concert tour is in support of her newest album, “A Matter of Time.”
During her stay in the country, Laufey also got to enjoy Filipino delicacies.
She is best known for the songs “Let You Break My Heart Again” and “Valentine.”
