Sa kaniyang Instagram post, binigyan-pugay ni Dingdong Dantes ang namayapang dating pangulo na si Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, na nagtalaga sa kaniya noon bilang commissioner at large sa National Youth Commission (NYC).

“President Noy was a champion for youth development,” bahagi ng caption ni Dingdong sa closeup photo ni Aquino.

Binalikan niya ang mga proyekto nila ng dating pangulo kabilang na ang pagkatawan nito sa #NowPH movement presentation sa 2015 Paris Climate Change Conference.

Dahil kay Aquino ay taun-taon nang ginugunita ang “National Day for Youth in Climate Action” tuwing Nov. 25 sa pamamagitan ng Presidential Proclamation No. 1160.

 

 

Ayon sa aktor, labis siyang nagpapasalamat na nagkaroon siya ng pagkakataon na makilala ang dating pangulo kahit sa labas ng trabaho nito.

“Behind that seat of power was a simple man, who beams with humility, inspiration, and hope for the country,” saad niya.

“I cannot thank him enough for the trust and confidence that he bestowed on me. And, I am truly honored to have served the Filipino Youth under his leadership,” patuloy ng aktor.

Pinasalamatan din ni Dingdong si Aquino sa, “selfless dedication” sa pagsisilbi sa bansa.

“He was a formidable beacon of uprightness and incorruptibility during his administration. He will be in our prayers and we’ll always be deeply thankful for his service,” sabi ni Dingdong.

“We know that He’s seen his good work and that he is already with Him, resting in heaven’s glory,” dagdag niya na may hashtag na #SalamatPnoy.

Kaninang umaga ng Huwebes nang pumanaw si Aquino dahil sa renal disease secondary to diabetes, ayon kay Pinky Aquino-Abellada, kapatid ng dating pangulo. --FRJ, GMA News
