Filipino bakery to serve Pinoy treats at Olivia Rodrigo's music festival

A Filipino-owned bakery in California is set to serve Pinoy treats at Olivia Rodrigo's upcoming music festival.

San & Wolves Bakeshop, a vegan and immigrant-owned bakery in Long Beach, California, announced on Instagram that it will be part of the Filipino-American singer's upcoming Daisy Chain Fields festival.

"Guess what vegan Filipino bakery will be pulling up at Miss Olivia Rodrigo's [Daisy Chain Fields]? We'll have ube ensaymadas, pandan sagos, pop tarts, atchara hotdogs, and more!" the bakeshop wrote.

The upcoming festival appearance will mark the bakery's first music festival after previously participating in both large and small events.

"We're very honored and excited to be part of it! If you're going, please say hi!" it said.

San & Wolves Bakeshop also tagged Olivia and her team in the post, writing, "If you see this, your Pinay butt better visit our booth!"

Olivia appeared to notice the invitation as she liked the bakery's post.

Daisy Chain Fields is a new all-women music festival set for August 29 at the Great Park in Irvine, California.

One hundred percent of the net proceeds will go to charities dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls.

Performers on the festival include Chappell Roan, Garbage, Doechii, The Breeders, Mitski, Bikini Kill, Katseye, and more.

In June, Olivia released her third studio album, "You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love." Among the tracks featured on the album are "Drop Dead," "The Cure," and "Stupid Song."

In 2024, Olivia visited the Philippines for her first concert in the country. During the sold-out show, Olivia proudly embraced her Filipino heritage by thanking her kababayans, wearing a "Miss So Filipina" sash, sporting a statement shirt that read "Pinoy Pride," and more.
