Would Kris Aquino go into politics?
Kris Aquino said she is open to entering politics if given the opportunity but acknowledged that her current health condition remains a challenge.
On Wednesday's “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the Queen of All Media was asked if she would consider pursuing a political career if she becomes healthy.
“Yes, but I'm not healthy. My dad had always thought that this was what I was meant for. But we need a miracle. So, not everything will be given to me,” Kris said in Filipino and English.
Despite her health struggles, Kris expressed hope that she could serve the public, particularly in the health sector. She said she would welcome an appointment to the Department of Health (DOH).

“But if ever, I hope whoever gets elected will appoint me to the DOH. Because of my experience, Boy. And they know I won't steal,” she said.
Kris also pointed out that lowering medicine prices would be a meaningful way to help Filipinos.
“Just lowering the cost of medicine would already make a huge difference. And maybe by not taxing imported medicines so heavily, we can already make them much more affordable.”
She also stressed the importance of having honest public servants.
“I feel, Boy, that those appointed to public office should be people whom the public knows have already set aside money for themselves. I'm not referring to or hinting at anyone right now, but I think we deserve honest public servants,” she said.
Kris is battling multiple autoimmune diseases.
Recently, she made a comeback as Netflix's Chief Head of Insight and Content Analysis aka C.H.I.K.A. Her return was celebrated by fans and her colleagues in the entertainment industry.
Kris and Tito Boy reunited on Wednesday for a two-part television special as part of the latter's weeklong birthday celebration on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda."
The second part of the special will air on Thursday at 4:05 p.m. on GMA Network.
