Liza Soberano's Hollywood film, 'Lisa Frankenstein,' to premiere in February

Liza Soberano to star as Taffy in Lisa Frankenstein

Liza Soberano's upcoming Hollywood film, "Lisa Frankenstein," is set to hit United States cinemas on February 9 next year.

The film's X (formerly Twitter) account announced the premiere date on Saturday with a 20-second teaser video.

Starring Cole Sprouse and Kathryn Newton, the horror-comedy film is inspired by the gothic novel "Frankenstein" by English writer Mary Shelley.

Liza will play Taffy, the stepsister of Kathryn's character Lisa. This is her debut project in Hollywood.

"Lisa Frankenstein" is directed by Zelda Williams and written by Diablo Cody.

Liza has been pursuing a Hollywood career. The actress is also attempting to break into Korean entertainment.

Earlier this year, Liza has stirred controversy after rebranding herself and sharing her thoughts on Philippine entertainment, working behind the camera, and love teams.
