Alex Eala at the Cincinnati Open: Schedule and draw

Alexandra “Alex” Eala is set to return to action as she begins her Cincinnati Open campaign.

The world No. 20 received a first-round bye in the WTA 1000 event, sending her directly into the Round of 64.

Eala will face Elena-Gabriela Ruse, who advanced to the second round after defeating Magda Linette, 6-0, 6-3, in the Round of 128.

Eala’s schedule for the tournament has yet to be finalized. Her current draw is as follows:
