Pumanaw na sa edad na 68 ang dating aktor at komedyanteng na si Anthony Roquel, na nakilala bilang si "Tonette Macho" sa sitcom na “Iskul Bukol” noong dekada ’70.
Ibinahagi ng kaniyang pamangkin na si Nica Gomez-Lorena ang malungkot na balita sa isang post sa Facebook nitong Biyernes.
“With faith and love, we share that our dearest, Tito Anthony A. Roquel, has been called home to be with our Lord and Savior on October 16, 2026,” saad ni Nica sa post.
Sa isang mensahe sa GMA News Online, inihayag din ni Nica na pumanaw ang kaniyang tiyuhin dahil sa sakit na cancer.
"A devoted warrior of Christ, a loving son, a dependable brother, a wonderful uncle, a best friend to most, a prayer partner to thousands, we take comfort in knowing he is now at rest in eternal peace and with no more pain," saad niya.

Sinipi rin ni Nica ang 2 Timothy 4:7 bilang pagpupugil kay Anthony: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."

Magsisimula sa Sabado ang seremonya ng pasasalamat at pag-alala para kay Anthony sa Loyola Memorial Chapels sa kahabaan ng Dr. A. Santos Avenue, Sucat Road, Parañaque. Ihahayag ang iba pang detalye tungkol sa kaniyang libing sa mga susunod na araw.
