"I would like to respectfully inform you of my formal retirement from professional basketball with Blackwater Bossing as your player, effective immediately," saad ni Andre sa sulat.

"I would like to thank you for all the great opportunities you have given me at Blackwater. I have enjoyed working with the team and management and I am ready to move on to the next phase of my life and continue my acting career," patuloy pa niya.

"Sayang sobra. So me, like a father to most of the players, I like to see them have a greener pasture. I know it’s heavy also on Andre’s heart so let destiny decide one’s path or journey," sabi ni Sy sa GMA News Online.

"I wish Andre all the best," dagdag pa niya. — FRJ, GMA News
