Binalikan ni Bernard Palanca ang hindi magandang yugto ng kaniyang buhay noon nang malulong siya sa ilegal na droga, at ibinahagi kung paanao niya ito nalagpasan.
Sa episode ng "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" nitong Huwebes, sinabi ni Bernard na kung makakabalik siya sa nakaraan, hindi niya gagawin ang unang pagtikim sa ilegal na droga dahil iyon ang simula ng lahat.
"If it is possible to go back Tito Boy, if that possibility was there, and if I could, I would definitely go back to the very first day that I tried, you know, doing something," sabi ni Bernard kay Tito Boy.
"I will tell myself I wouldn't do it at all, because that was the start eh. When that happened, that caused already the rest of the way," pagpapatuloy pa niya.
"So, if I didn't take the first puff as they say back then, I don't think my life would have went in that direction at all," sabi pa ni Bernard.
Matatandaang nag-hiatus o nawala noon si Bernard sa showbiz at sumailalim sa rehabilitation.
Kasalukuyang napanonood si Bernard sa "Slay" na first Viu Original series ng GMA Network, na pinagbibidahan nina Gabbi Garcia, Julie Anne San Jose, Ysabel Ortega, Mikee Quintos, at Derrick Monasterio. -- FRJ, GMA Integrated News
