Alex Eala, Venus Williams train ahead of DC Open

Alexandra "Alex" Eala and Venus Williams hit the practice court ahead of their doubles campaign at the Washington DC Open.

The tournament marks their second partnership after reaching the quarterfinals of the Bad Homburg Open last month.

Eala previously said she learned a lot from Williams during that stint.

The DC Open also marks Eala's return to competition following her historic Wimbledon campaign, where she advanced to the Round of 16.

It is the first stop of Eala's North American swing, with tournaments in Montreal and Cincinnati scheduled before she competes at the US Open.
