“I am pleased with Japan’s reiteration that it is fully committed to – as he described it – ‘give flesh’ to the 1 trillion yen or close to nine billion dollars pledge [of] assistance to the Philippines,” pahayag ni Duterte sa kanilang joint statement ng Punong Ministro ng Japan nitong Lunes.

“There will be some of the most ambitious and groundbreaking projects, including the Metro Manila Subway project, and major developments in the regions and provinces,” saad ng pangulo.

“Apart from its involvement in the peace process, Japan is already on the ground as we proceed with reconstructing Marawi and rebuilding the lives of those affected,” dagdag niya.

"[Duterte] met several Japanese companies and witnessed several B-B MOUs and Letters of intent on Investment plans, joint ventures and expansion of operations in the Philippines," ayon kay Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez sa isang pahayag.

"This would be in the areas of manufacturing such as shipbuilding and iron and steel, agribusiness, power, renewable energy, transportation, infrastructure, mineral processing, retailing, ICT, IT-BPM. Total new investments of USD 6 Billion," dagdag niya.-- FRJ, GMA News
