Dalawang tanggapan ang binuwag ni Pangulong Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. na nakapaloob sa unang Executive Order (EO) na pinirmahan niya.
May petsang June 30 ang EO No.1 na nag-uutos na buwagin ang Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) at Office of the Cabinet Secretary.
"In order to achieve simplicity, economy, and efficiency in the bureaucracy without effecting disruptions in internal management and general governance, the Administration shall streamline official processes and procedures by reorganizing the Office of the President proper and the various attached agencies and offices, and by abolishing duplicated and overlapping official functions," nakasaad sa EO.
Nakasad din sa EO na ililipat ang kapangyarihan at trabaho ng PACC sa Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs.
Sasailalim naman sa kontrol ng Presidential Management Staff (PMS) ang Cabinet Secretariat kasunod ng ginawang paglusaw sa Office of the Cabinet Secretary.
Una rito, sinabi ni Marcos na binigyan niya ng laya ang Gabinete na ayusin ang kani-kanilang tanggapan upang mas mapahusay ang serbisyo sa mga tao.
Kasabay nito, nakasaad din sa EO No. 1 ang pagbuo ng Office of the Presidential Adviser on Military ang Police Affairs, na ilalagay sa ilalim ng Office of the Special Assistant to the President.
Inatasan din sa EO No.1 ang Office of the Special Assistant to the President, the Presidential Advisers and Assistants, at PMS na makipagtulungan sa Executive Secretary sa pagbibigay ng suporta sa Pangulo.
Makatatanggap naman ng kaukulang benepisyo batay sa itinatakda ng batas ang mga kawani na maapektuhan sa pagbuwag ng dalawang tanggapan.— FRJ, GMA News
