Ilang minutong nawalan ng kuryente sa press conference ni Energy Secretary Raphael Lotilla at ilan pang opisyal ng Department of Energy (DOE) nitong Huwebes.

Tumagal ng ilang minuto na walang suplay ng kuryente sa lugar na naibalik naman sa tulong ng backup power generator.

Paliwanag ni Lotilla, “localized in the building” ang naturang brownout na posibleng dulot umano ng "the connections cannot take simultaneously all of your equipment.”

Isinagawa ang press conference sa Philippine National Oil Company-Exploration Corp. building na nasa loob ng DOE compound sa Taguig City.

“This building could not handle the power demand surge from all of your equipment… We really have to take it into account next time,” paliwanag pa ng kalihim.

Inihayag din ng kagawaran na may mga tauhan ng Manila Electric Company (Meralco) ang mag-aayos sa bumigay na fuse box.

Sa kabila nito, tiniyak ni Lotilla sa publiko na stable at reliable ang suplay ng enerhiya sa bansa.
