"Done. Nurses, other health workers with existing contracts of work abroad can leave," ani Locsin.
"Future applications frozen until further notice provided all our 450,000+ nurses—exceeding by 250,000 ideal WHO ratio of people-to-nurses—must be given employment," dagdag niya.

I am a member of the Philippine Nurses Association from the time I sat on the board of Medical City. So far as I know. But thank Belgica of anti-Red Tape too. He dove in and helped a lot. https://t.co/NcKEUBWd1D

Sa hiwalay na pahayag, sinabi ni Panelo na nabuo ang desisyon para irekonsidera ang temporary deployment ban sa pulong ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) nitong Lunes.
“I also sent a memo to President Rodrigo Duterte recommending the lifting of the travel ban on health workers with perfected contracts. The IATF resolution is subject to the approval of the President,” ani Panelo, tagapagsalita at chief legal counsel ng pangulo.
Una rito, binatikos ni Locsin ang deployment ban dahil labag umano ito sa rights to travel at non-impairment of contracts. - FRJ, GMA News
