Turistang Pinoy, nasawi habang nasa Hong Kong Disneyland -- report

Isang 53-anyos na turistang Pilipino ang pumanaw habang nagbabakasyon sa Hong Kong.

Kinumpirma ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) nitong Sabado ang pagpanaw ng Pilipino pero wala na itong ibang detalye na ibinigay tungkol sa nangyari sa kaniya.

Ngunit sa ulat ng South China Morning Post, nakasaad na 53-anyos ang Pinoy at mayroon umanong "pre-existing medical condition.”

Pumanaw umano ang Pinoy, "after falling into a coma while on a ride at Hong Kong Disneyland."

"The Consulate General, through its Assistance-to-Nationals Section, confirmed the incident with the Lantau Police Headquarters and contacted the next of kin of the deceased to convey our heartfelt condolences and to assist them with the process of repatriating the deceased's remains," ayon sa pahayag ng DFA.

"The Consulate General continues to coordinate with the local authorities and institutions concerned, while respecting the family's privacy during this difficult time," dagdag nito. — FRJ GMA Integrated News
