“I have friends and family very close to me. Especially after the coronation night, sobrang hirap para sa akin, but I had my family there, so I was okay. I went through a very difficult time, the weeks to follow,” sabi ni Celeste.

“But I know in my heart that the respect, the love and support that I gained from the Filipino fans is more valuable than the Miss Universe crown. And I really, really know na ginawa ko ang lahat para sa bansa. So I’m happy,” saad ng Filipina-Italian model.

“Of course she was a little bit disappointed and sad. But she was able to comfort me. I spent the night with my mom at the hotel. Me as a daughter, all I wanted is to make her proud. But then she was really telling me ‘You make me very proud. This is not your fault. You did everything and no matter what, I’m very excited on what’s to come after.’”

“I’m open. I really want to study, that’s why I’m learning how to speak Tagalog. Nag-aaral ako, so let’s see,” sabi niya.-- FRJ, GMA Integrated News
