“Matthew was very supportive, he came with me to the US with my friend Benj, and he was there all the way,” kuwento ni Celeste kay Tito Boy sa “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” nitong Huwebes.

“I think what’s really beautiful about our relationship is the fact that we give each other space and understanding. We understand each other’s needs. He knew that Miss Universe was very important to me, so he was really there. Especially when I did not get in the Top 16, he was beside me the whole time, with my mother, with my friends.

“In the context of your relationship with Matthew, do you feel lucky?” tanong ni Tito Boy.

“I feel very lucky because sobrang supportive siya. The fact that we give each other space and understanding in everything that we do, it’s really, really important to me. He understands what I need, what is really important to me, and I don’t find it toxic at all. I feel like I was just very lucky to find a guy that was as supportive as him,” anang beauty queen.

“He’s always present in everything I do. Of course sometimes we fight, that’s normal, but we know our boundaries,” sabi ni Celeste.

“What do you fight about?” pag-usisa ni Tito Boy.

“Stupid things,” natatawang sabi ni Celeste.

“Misunderstandings but we always talk about it, I think that communication is very important in a relationship, and that’s what we have, and that’s why we lasted for so long,” dagdag pa ni Celeste. --FRJ, GMA Integrated News
