Isa na ngayong corporate chef si Donita Rose sa isang supermarket chain sa Amerika na pag-aari ng Pinoy.
Sa Instagram post, sinabi ni Donita na nagtatrabaho na siya sa Island Pacific, ang chain of stores na nagbebenta ng fresh meat, produce, at groceries na ang specialization ay Filipino cuisine.
"It’s official! You are now looking @islandpacificmarket’s Corporate R&D Chef," saad ng aktres. "Wait ‘til you see what we’ve been working on together with @gtongi & @maricelaguilar2010 to bring Philippine Cuisine to the next level."
May sangay ang Island Pacific sa California at Nevada.
Sa artikulo sa Grocery Drive, ibinahagi ni Donita na hindi madali ang magluto ng Filipino dishes sa Amerika dahil sa kakulangan ng sangkap.
Ang private label line ng supermarket na ipino-promote ni Donita ay layuning "to appeal to both traditional and more modern cooking approaches."
"Whenever Filipino do designs to represent the Filipino people, oftentimes it's very folksy or very traditional looking ... I think the design now represents the old and the new together," ayon sa aktres. —FRJ, GMA News
