"Transportation Secretary Banoy Lopez has immediately instructed MIAA and New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) to ensure the safety and security of all passengers and airport personnel, and to submit a detailed report explaining the cause of the incident," sabi ng ahensiya sa isang pahayag.
“The DOTr is closely monitoring the situation and expects a thorough assessment of the incident, including the implementation of necessary measures to prevent similar occurrences in the future,” sabi pa nito.
Nanatili namang operational ang NAIA Terminal matapos ang insidente, sabi ng DoTr.
Sa hiwalay na ulat naman ng GMA News Bulletin, sinabing ipinag-utos na ng DoTr sa Manila International Airport Authority na makipag-ugnayan sa private operator ng NAIA ang New NAIA Infra Corp para sa imbestigasyon sa insidente.
Sinabi naman New NAIA Infra Corp, nakapag-inspeksyon na ang kanilang engineering team at siniguro nitong ligtas ang lugar.
Nagsasagawa na sila ng imbestigasyon para matukoy ang sanhi ng aksidente at nakikipag-ugnayan sa mga awtoridad. —Jamil Santos/LDF GMA News
