May aasahan muli na tapyas sa presyo ng mga produktong petrolyo ang mga motorsita sa susunod na linggo pero hindi pa rin sapat para mabura ang nakaraang malakihang taas-presyo.
Ang inaasahang bawas-presyo sa mga produktong petrolyo ay batay umano sa resulta ng apat na araw na kalakalan sa Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS), ayon sa Jetti Petroleum.
Posible umanong mabawasan ang presyo ng diesel ng P0.20 to P0.40 per liter, habang P0.80 to P1.00 per liter naman sa gasolina.
“Prices fell this week as the risk premium built into crude oil and refined fuel products gradually unwinds due to easing of tensions in the Middle East,” pahayag ng Jetti.
“The prospect of additional supply from another OPEC+ output increase, and worries about the impact on the economy and fuel demand driven by US tariff uncertainty have also weighed on prices,” dagdag pa ng kompanya.
Inaanunsyo ng mga oil company ang opisyal na price adjustments tuwing Lunes, at ipatutupad sa susunod na araw ng Martes.
Nitong nakaraang Martes, nabawasan ng P1.40 per liter ang presyo ng gasolina, P1.80 sa diesel, at P2.20 sa kerosene.
Pero bago nito, nagkaroon ng malakihang oil price hike na umabot sa P5.20 per liter ang itinaas sa presyo ng diesel, P3.50 sa gasolina, at P4.80 sa kerosene.
