Ibinahagi ng model-actress na si Daiana Menezes sa PEP.ph ang naging pakikipaglaban niya sa Stage 2B breast cancer.
Sa artikulo ni Jojo Gabinete sa PEP.ph nitong Miyerkules, sinabi ni Daiana na nagsimula ito nang may nakapa siya na maliit na bukol sa dibdib noong 2018.
"When I turned 30 years old, I felt a lump or, I'd say, 'cyst' on my right breast, and thought it was very small," saad umano ni Daiana. At noong 2018, nagpa-breast ultrasound siya.
"They couldn't find it, and yet, I insisted. I put my arm down and they saw a weird-looking cyst.
"They requested for a biopsy, but I had a series of concerts in Dubai, so I prioritized my job.
"I knew something was up when, after the biopsy, I didn’t get a result over the phone but a scheduled consultation," kuwento niya.
Naging kalmado raw si Daiana nang malaman ang tungkol sa resulta ng pagsusuri at nagsagawa siya ng pag-aaral tungkol sa kaniyang sakit sa pamamagitan ng panonood ng mga pelikula at dokyu tungkol dito.
Humingi rin daw siya ng mga payo at ipinagdasal na dalhin siya sa duktor na makagagamot sa kaniya.
Sa pamamagitan ng operasyon, inalis ang mga kulane o bukol.
Pero hindi umano sumailalim si Daiana sa chemotherapy, at sa halip ay pinili nila ang mga alternative o natural methods tulad weekly IV, once a month na hyperthermia, infrared sauna, hyperbaric oxygen, psychological treatment, at ozone therapy.
Binago rin daw niya ang kaniyang diet at lifestyle.
"I am definitely healthier! I watch my diet, my lifestyle, my sleeping hours, my stress. I manage my time for my health and work. Not the other way around," saad niya.-- For the full story, visit PEP.ph
