Naglabas ng pahayag ang GMA Network, Inc. kaugnay sa inihaing reklamo ng kriminal na "estafa with abuse of confidence" laban sa mga opisyal ng Television and Production Exponents, Inc. (TAPE) dahil umano sa misappropriation of funds na nagkakahalaga ng P37,941,352.56.
Samantala, sinabi ni Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque, legal counsel at spokesperson ng Tape, maglalabas sila ng opisyal na pahayag kapag natanggap na nila ang kopya ng reklamo.
“I directed one of the alleged respondents in said case to go to the office of the City Prosecutor of Quezon City to check on the case but she was informed that no case was filed against them by GMA” saad niya sa pahayag.
“They will issue a statement as soon as they receive a copy of the complaint, if indeed there is. Rest assured that they will follow and respect the legal proceedings,” dagdag pa ni Abraham-Garduque.
