Iniutos ng Pasig Regional Trial Court (RTC) na ilipat ng sa Pasig City jail mula sa detention facility sa Camp Crame sa Quezon City si dating Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo kaugnay ng kinakaharap nitong kaso na qualified human trafficking.
Sa apat na pahinang kautusan ng Pasig RTC Branch 167, pinapalipat nito sa Pasig City Jail Female Dormitory si Guo na pansamantalang nakadetine sa Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center.
“[T]he Court finds probable cause to hold accused Alice Leal Guo a.k.a 'Guo Hua Ping...' for trial for the crime/s charged against them,” ayon sa korte.
“All the accused in these cases are not entitled to post bail as the charges against them are all non-bailable,” dagdag nito.
Kinasuhan si Guo at iba pang akusado ng paglabag sa Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003, as amended by the Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2012 and the Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2022.
Kasama ni Guo sa kaso sina Huang Zhiyang, na tinukoy ng Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission na "boss of all bosses" sa ilegal na operasyon ng Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs); at si Zhang Ruijin.
Naglabas ng arrest warrant ang korte laban kina Huang Zhiyang, Zhang Rujin, Lin Baoying, at dating Technology and Livelihood Resource Center (TLRC) deputy director general Dennis Cunanan.
