May aasahan ang mga motorista na malakihang rollback sa presyo ng diesel at kerosene sa susunod na linggo.
Sinabi ni Department of Energy-Oil Industry Management Bureau (DOE-OIMB) assistant director Rodela Romero ngayong Biyernes, na ang pagtaya sa magiging galaw sa presyo ng mga produktong petrolyo ay base sa resulta ng nakaraang apat na araw na kalakalan sa Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS).
Posible umanong umabot sa P3 per liter ang matapyas sa presyo ng diesel at kerosene, habang P0.40 naman sa gasoline.
Kabilang sa mga nakaapekto umano sa inaasahang galaw ng presyo ng krudo sa susunod na linggo ay ang posibilidad ng ceasefire ng Ukraine at Russia na maaaring magresulta sa pag-alis ng Western sanctions sa langis ng Russia; gayundin ang pagsusuri ng mga investor sa posibilidad ng sobrang suplay sa merkado ng langis.
“Final adjustments would be determined after Friday’s MOPS trading and oil companies inclusion of their operating cost and other premiums,” ani Romero.
Ang Jetti Petroleum, tinataya naman na nasa P3.00 hanggang P3.20 ang posibleng mabawas sa presyo ng diesel per liter, habang wala o P0.10 lang ang matapyas sa presyo ng gasoline.
“Significant drop on the price of diesel primarily due market correction as crude oil prices eased on hopes of a US-brokered ceasefire in Ukraine,” ayon sa Jetti.
“While Asian gasoline prices have eased down slightly as well, the premium and freight components have remain elevated due to tight supply-demand balance,” dagdag nito.
