Paano, mahirap itong i-explain. Actually pang-teleserye rin 'yung bloodline or family tree ng Rizal and Malvar," kuwento ni Therese sa "Conversations" ng GMA News Online.

"'Yung anak ni General Miguel Malvar at 'yung one of the sisters of Rizal, naging sila... And then 'yon. 'Yun 'yung connection...

"I think lahat naman po tayo, as a story teller of both film and TV, it's our mission for us to let the audience feel our character, not because of the story but because of what the character wants. 'Yung advocacy niya, 'yung views niya, opinions niya," paliwanag ng aktres.

"At bilang story teller, kami rin 'yung boses ng mga unsung, those victims that cannot, you know, their voices aren't heard, and stories that are too harsh usually and 'yun nga, na mapamulat 'yung mga audience sa mga issues na hindi nata-tackle," patuloy niya.

Kamakailan lamang, nanalo si Therese bilang Indie Film Actress of the Year ng Laguna Excellence Awards.
