Sa kaniyang Instagram Stories, iniulat ng direktor na “now awake” at “able to eat thrice a day” na si Odette.
“Her condition improved,” sabi ni Kip. “We now have a specialist who said her lungs don’t need to be drained again because of the improvement.”
“She is fighting with us. Thank you to everyone who has helped,” dagdag pa niya.
Ayon pa kay Kip, “inspired and touched” siya sa suportang natatanggap ni Odette.
“Her 50 years of love for her art and craft made people love her as well. In this industry, people like her are rare.”
Tinawag din niya si Odette bilang “one of the silent pillars of our industry.”
“She never chased fame or validation – just quiet, dignified and high-quality work over the years,” ayon pa sa kaniya.
Naospital si Odette noong Pebrero dahil sa pneumonia at komplikayon sa paghinga.
